The food was really good, it's a kid friendly family restaurant. It's very clean and the staff is super friendly. I highly recommend trying this place out ..

For a Mexican/Tex-Mex restaurant, they could stand to use a little more seasoning on their food, if they even use any at all. You can't always rely only on the ingredients as seasoning--it still needs enhancement. Most of the meats seem a bit flavorless. They could at least have hot sauce on the tables--which they never have available (I've asked). The service is always pretty good--not great, but good. My water glass is hardly ever refilled. I might also note that the restroom doors badly need to be cleaned! These doors are disgusting and stained with God knows what....a little bleach goes a long way! The men's room is often out of hand soap too. A little cleaning would make a world of difference--especially for such a popular lunch and dinner spot! Do better.

Worst Mexican restaurant I've ever eaten at. The dishes arrived less than a minute after ordering. There is no “cooking” here. The burritos seemed to come from the microwave, the cheese sauce tasted like instant sauce. zero taste. The atmosphere doesn't make up for it either. The waitress was pushy and wanted to get a big tip.

Best dining experience I’ve had in 4 days of being in the area. Great staff, good food and very friendly. Highly recommend and will be back when I’m in the area.

This is the second time I picked up fajitas on the way to work and they didn’t put my tortillas in the bag. Check your bag if you order from here. I’m not making that mistake again. I’ll just go to las palmas from now on they’ve never messed up my order and I’ve gone there way more times than casa Maria.

My only problem with Casa Maria is the food. I have eaten lots of Mexican food in many places, including Mexico. This food was the furthest from Mexican that I have ever had. It was good food just not Mexican.

Tried the El Mario plate. Chimichanga enchilada and crispy taco was all very good and plenty of food. Only request would be that they season the beef just a bit more. I'll have to come back and try something different because there are plenty of selections on the menu.

The service was good, the food is mid. Gonzales needs better places to it. If this place is the only restaurant open in the area then it’s not too bad, but you could probably get better food at Taco Bell.
